Survivalism

Survivalism is a lifestyle that emphasizes preparing for and surviving through various potential catastrophic events, such as natural disasters, economic collapse, social upheaval, or political turmoil. Also, it involves taking proactive steps to acquire skills, knowledge, and resources that would enable you to be self-sufficient and resilient in challenging situations.

Defense

Generally refers to the action of protecting oneself, and one’s interests from harm, danger, or attack. It involves measures taken to prevent, resist, or counteract threats or aggression. Defense can apply to various contexts. For this blog, I will mainly be focused on personal defense and home defense.

Prepping

This can range from relatively simple and practical measures, such as having a basic emergency kit, to more elaborate and comprehensive preparations that may involve significant lifestyle changes. While some associate prepping with extreme or apocalyptic scenarios, many simply see it as a sensible approach to being ready for unexpected events and uncertainties in life.

Gear & Training

Considering survivalism, defense and prepping, there are many different and exciting opportunities to gain important skills thru training with exceptionally proficient individuals. Also, I will highlight and review various items that will be crucial to meeting your goal of being prepared for whatever may happen in the future.

Hi! I’m Michael aka “Mr. Anderson”.

Ever since COVID hit America in 2020, I’ve been diving into and researching different aspects of survivalism, defense and prepping. Also, it forced me to take personal inventory of all the experiences and training that I’ve gotten during my time in the Marine Corps.

As a Dad, I also want to be able to protect my kids by giving them the benefit of my experiences and as much information as possible to keep them prepared. That’s what I’m doing here — to do the same for you!
